# 4.3 Initial SOURCE Allocation and Distribution

The total and final amount of SOURCE in existence is 100’000’000 SOURCE. No additional SOURCE will be minted, neither will existing SOURCE be permanently destroyed. SOURCE may be indefinitely sequestered within the network’s Reserve, as detailed in 3.4.4 SOURCE Token Dynamics.
